If you are currently living outside of the U.S. and wish to study English, you must apply for the F-1 visa through your local U.S. embassy or consulate. Once approved, you can travel to the United States and begin your academic journey.

Apply to Lingua Prime

Submit your application and take a placement test. Once accepted, we will issue your Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status).

Get Your Visa and Travel to the U.S.

If approved, your passport will be returned with an F-1 visa stamp. You may enter the U.S. up to 30 days before your program start date.

Pay the SEVIS Fee

Pay the SEVIS I-901 fee ($350) online using the information from your I-20.

Attend the Interview

Bring your required documents:

  • Valid passport

  • Form I-20

  • DS-160 confirmation page

  • SEVIS fee receipt

  • Financial support documents

  • Admission letter from Lingua Prime

Complete the DS-160 Form

Fill out the Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160) and print the confirmation page.

Schedule a Visa Interview

Make an appointment at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your country.
