Maintaining Your Student Visa Status
While studying on a student visa you must maintain full-time enrollment and good academic standing to keep your legal status. Depending on local regulations you may also be allowed to work on campus or in approved practical training programs. If your plans change—such as transferring to another school or moving to a different address—you must inform both your school and the immigration authorities to remain in compliance. If a visa is denied, it is often possible to reapply after correcting the issues cited by the consular officer, and Lingua Prime’s advisors can guide you through this process. Students whose visas are delayed may in some cases start their courses online until travel is possible.
